- Sign Installer / Boom Truck Operator
We’re hiring a SIGN INSTALLER WITH LIFT TRUCK OPERATING EXPERIENCE in WILMINGTON, NC! We’re looking for a friendly, team player, with extensive experience installing illuminated and non-illuminated signs, vinyl installation experience a plus!

In a typical day, you would:
- Work with veteran production and installation staff to complete large and small sign installations.
- Work on in-house fabrication, when not installing in the field
- Cut substrates using our CNC router – with experience or training
- Assist with sign painting and aluminum welding – with experience or training
- Keep work environment clean, replacing every tool before end of day
What you need to land this job: Positive attitude, especially when facing the pressure of tight deadlines.
- Extensive experience installing 3D letters and signs, both illuminated and non-illuminated, and working with vinyl.
- Excellent communication skills, good basic math skills.
- Ability to use rules to 32nd of an inch, understand metric v. standard measurement system.
- Extensive experience using power tools.
- An eagerness to learn from / work with veteran staff members.
- Appreciate working around high-end printing/cutting/painting equipment.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
- Be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
- Be able to dig with post-hole diggers, augers, and install sign posts.
- Have a neat and professional appearance, no visible piercings (other than the ears) or tattoos above the collar while at work.
- Pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- Above all, you are a true team player, no need for personal accolades you’d prefer to see the entire team get credit for your good work.
This is full-time position working 8 am – 5pm, M – F and occasional weekends or later hours (opportunities for overtime). We offer competitive compensation, health insurance, five paid holidays per year, retirement savings with company match and paid vacation after the first year of employment. *Salary negotiable based on experience.
