- What is the Port City Signs & Graphics difference?
Our designers are professionals; every step of the sign making process is completed with utmost perfection, made possible by years of experience. You can choose PCSG confidently, knowing you’ll receive quality and efficiency, professionally.
- What is the design process like?
First, come to us with a detailed description of the project you have in mind. We’ll provide feedback on your request to iron out the details, then we’ll get back to you later with a digital rendering of your sign or vehicle. From here, you can request changes, or sign off, and we’ll get to work.
- What is the turnaround time?
Turnaround time varies from project to project. Simple printed signs (like banners and other standard substrates) in low quantity can in some cases be produced by the next day. Large volume items or more complex orders take longer. What we can say is we are clear at the time of ordering what you can expect regarding a timeline. Always share your deadline up front and we will be honest about whether we can meet it. We are very deadline oriented and can meet most timelines.
- How are reorders handled?
Reorders are simple and easy, because we keep all previous orders and client files indefinitely, unless specifically asked (in rare cases) to delete them. Design is already complete, and if no or only minor changes are needed, then turnaround typically is fast.
- What file type should I provide for my order?
We prefer full-sized artwork in vector format (usually PDF, EPS, SVG or AI files), or full-sized raster images @300dpi (usually JPEG, PNG, TIFF, AI, EPS, PDF, PSD, or PSB files). All artwork should be in CMYK color mode. Please outline any fonts and embed any images within the artwork.
- Do you service illuminated signage?
We only service illuminated signage that was initially installed by Port City Signs & Graphics.
- I have my own vinyl, can you apply it for me?
It is our policy to only install vinyl that was purchased at Port City Signs & Graphics.
