We are excited to showcase our latest project for Cygnus Technologies, a leading provider of analytical research and testing services to the pharmaceutical industry.

Recently, they relocated from Southport to the Leland Industrial Park into a brand new $10 million building with room for expansion. But what good is a new building if you don’t have the signage to match? That’s where Port City Signs & Graphics came in.

We worked hand-in-hand with the Cygnus team from the early stages of construction to design and install their signs, including a stunning interior illuminated acrylic panel featuring the Cygnus constellation, which inspired the name of the company. Using second surface printing and LED lighting, we crafted this high-gloss work of art entirely in-house. It’s sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who enters the lobby.

In addition to the dazzling acrylic panel, we couldn’t help but add extra sparkle to the space with a mirror finish stainless steel logo combined with a brushed aluminum tagline. This bright, reflective logo on the dark textured wall adds just the right amount of shine to the area resulting in a sophisticated, bold and eye-catching piece.

But wait, we didn’t stop there! We also created two 3-D logo signs for the exterior of the building. One is a painted aluminum logo for the entrance canopy over the front doors (pictured above), while the other sits atop the two-story building, facing Highway 17 in Leland. The Cygnus blue tones shine bright at night, making it impossible to miss.

In addition to the branded signage, we also assisted with the ADA Braille Room Signs. We created custom signs that matched the logo colors and interior design of the building, ensuring that Cygnus’ commitment to accessibility was reflected in every aspect of their signage.

At Port City Signs & Graphics, we are committed to helping businesses stand out and make an impact, and the work we did for Cygnus Technologies is a great example of that commitment in action. Overall, working with Cygnus Technologies on this project was an incredible experience. We were able to work closely with their team to create signage that not only met their unique needs but also reflected their brand and mission.
