That’s why I want to tell you about Salt Air Heating, Cooling & Electrical, our valued client at Port City Signs. This amazing company provides complete solutions for any heating, cooling or electrical need you have. Founded in 2011 by Devin and Brooke Skipper, Salt Air is devoted to their mission of keeping families comfortable, happy, and financially sound. They have a heart for serving the local community and serving clients in and around New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender counties.

I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful for the serendipitous encounter that brought Salt Air and Port City Signs together. I was on a panel at a women’s small business event in 2018, when Brooke introduced herself and said she wanted to talk about vehicle wraps. Little did I know at the time, but this chance meeting would mark the beginning of a treasured working relationship.

As Salt Air was actively searching for a new vehicle wrap company, I couldn’t believe the coincidence of our meeting. Their frustration with another wrap company’s poor service aligned perfectly with Port City Signs’ expertise and commitment to quality. From the very beginning, we wanted to educate Brooke and Devin on what makes vehicle wraps last and show them they could rely on us to make the process easy and efficient.

Since that initial meeting, we have had the pleasure of wrapping their fleet of 26 service vehicles. While vehicle wraps may have brought us together our partnership has expanded into many different types of projects over the last five years. We are committed to providing the Salt Air team with the signage and vehicle wraps they need to grow their business and succeed.

Here are some of the projects we have completed for Salt Air Heating, Cooling & Electrical:

• Perforated window media for Salt Air’s office – think graphics on the outside, but you can see out the window from the inside.
• Banners for Salt Air’s trade shows and events
• Hard hat decals for Salt Air’s employees
• Core values wall graphics for Salt Air’s office
• An organizational chart for Salt Air’s Wilmington office
• Branded license plates for Salt Air’s vehicles

We have also provided services such as removing graphics from vehicles, replacing damaged areas resulting from accidents, creating reusable stencils to mark valves, and adding NC and SC license numbers to their existing wraps.

Throughout each project, our commitment to clear communication has been paramount. We wanted to ensure that the Salt Air team felt involved and informed every step of the way. By addressing all of their questions and concerns promptly, we have been able to demonstrate our expertise and dedication to quality.

As I look back to meeting Brooke for the first time, I think of it as a turning point for our businesses. From the moment we started working together, Port City Signs has strived to deliver exceptional results and exceed Salt Air’s expectations. We are grateful that Brooke and Devin also have referred many new clients to us over the years, and we have aimed to do the same for them.
