Covers the entire vehicle, excluding the roof. Provides a truly spectacular look, by using your brand colors to cover the entire vehicle. Ideal for making a big impact with a smaller vehicle or to really stand out among standard car colors in traffic. Full wraps can cover bumper areas, however any textured plastic, window frames and some plastic trim pieces should be avoided because they will not last.
A partial wrap typically covers ½ – ⅔ of vehicle and provides high impact for a lower price than a full wrap, due to the reduced coverage area and installation time. We use the color of the vehicle as a background to accent the wrapped areas. Ideal for vehicles with paint color that coordinates well with brand colors. Avoiding the parts of the vehicle with the most complex curves will lower the installation time and, thus, the wrap cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
Notes About Installation & Delivery
We ask that all vehicles be washed (NO WAX) prior to delivery. Vehicles that are not washed may require a cleaning fee (at the client’s discretion). We do our best to remove hardware and handles prior to wrap installation to secure the media beneath those parts. We generally remove manufacturer branding badges if they will interfere with the appearance of the wrap image. Please notify us if you would prefer that we wrap over the branding badge (i.e. GMC, Chevy bowtie, Ford oval or lettering).
What is the design process like?
We pride ourselves on both the quality of our work and on providing exceptional customer service. When having a sign made, the following list will give you a good idea of the whole process.
- Collect information to provide a quote:
- Identify your material, PVC, aluminum composite, aluminum, acrylic, or other.
- Identify mounting style and location.
- Identify where the sign will be mounted, type of surface and area of space available.
- Provide artwork ready to cut, or provide logo, text and info for design team. (artwork@portcitysigns.com)
- Identify deadline.
- With the above information we can provide a quote.
- Approve quote and place a 50% deposit.
- Production team will conduct a site survey to confirm installation plans.
- Design team will email a proof.
- Proof approval puts sign into production.
- Client will be called to schedule installation or notified that the sign is ready for pickup.
- Balance due at time of installation.
What is the turnaround time?
Vehicle wraps turnaround time generally runs about 1-3 weeks from proof approval, depending on our installation schedule.
Turnaround time for vehicle wraps, depends largely on our installation schedule. Once a client approves the quote and submits a deposit, we schedule a tentative installation date to hold a spot on our calendar for that wrap. Typically that date is 1-3 weeks from the date of the deposit.
The job then moves into our design department for layout and proofing. Following proof approval, the wrap is scheduled to print ASAP. After printing, we cure the print media for 48-72 hours prior to lamination to ensure longevity of the print following installation. Wrap installation takes 1-3 days, depending on the size and type of vehicle and wrap.
How long do vehicle graphics and wraps last?
We’ve chosen this route over years of experimentation and understanding what makes wraps last. The way 3M’s cast media and laminate are produced prevents shrinkage over time. IJ180 has a 7-year expected lifespan. 8518 laminate has a 5 year lifespan. When paired together and cared for, we’ve seen wraps last 10 years, but that’s about the limit.
Weather, sun exposure and ink saturation definitely are factors that reduce longevity. In general, we plan for our wraps to last at least 5 – 7 years. If you have more questions, just ask us!

At Red Door Homes we want the best and we frankly want everything BRANDED. One of the most important aspects of marketing is having a consistent and recognizable company that is seen in various formats and instances.
That is why we wrap our vehicles. For starters, it looks highly professional and, why not having mobile billboards if you are already paying for the vehicle. We work with Sabrina to update our tailgates from time to time, matching our billboards, again, for that ease of recognition.
